RCF Soy Formula Base With Iron

RCF is intended for persons who are unable to tolerate the type or amount of carbohydrate in milk or infant formulas. This product contains no added carbohydrate. Feeding this product without adding water, unless directed to do so by your physician, may result in illness.

Directions

USE ONLY AS DIRECTED BY PHYSICIAN. MIX PROPERLY. Repeated use of improperly prepared formula could cause illness. To Prepare a 20 Cal/fl oz Formula: Use the type and amount of carbohydrate specified by your physician (see Table). 1. Dissolve in 12 fl oz of water, cover and bring to boil. Keep covered; allow to cool. 2. Rinse RCF can lid and shake well. Open with clean punch-type opener. 3. Add contents to cooled carbohydrate solution prepared in step 1. Mix and pour into bottles (or cup). 4. Attach nipples and rings, shake well, test temperature and feed. Do not sterilize prepared formula. 5. Discard unused formula in bottle (or cup) after feeding. If you physician specifies other types or amounts of carbohydrate or other amounts of water to be added to RCF, follow those instructions completely. Table sugar (Sucrose), 4 level tbsp. Dextrose powder (hydrous) 6 level tbsp. Polycose glucose polymers powder, 9 level tbsp. Storage: Avoid extreme temperatures. Cover opened cans and prepared formula not used immediately. Store in refrigerator and use within 48 hours.
